Arts, Culture & Theatre Awards (ACTAs) Competition Terms and Conditions
The host of the Arts, Culture & Theatre Awards (ACTAs) is Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. based at 1 Silex Street, London, SE1 0DW.
Entry into the competition is dependent upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. By entering the draw, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entrants must be a resident in the United Kingdom and must be aged 18 years or over.
To enter the competition, you must register only through the ACTA website. No payment or purchase is necessary to enter the ticket draw.
Only entries received by 6pm on Friday 22nd March 2019 (the “Closing Date”) will be entered into the competition. Entries received after this Closing Date will not be processed.
You are only allowed to enter the competition once. Any entrant who enters more than once will be disqualified.
By entering the competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
Entries will only be accepted if they are submitted on the entry form on the ACTA website and are completed in full.
Entrants must cast their vote for the Eastern Eye People’s Choice Award in order to be eligible for the competition.
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date.
The winner will receive two tickets to the ACTA ceremony, taking place on Friday 22nd June 2019 in Central London. Both attendees must be aged 18 or over and will be asked for photo identification upon entry.
The tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes (in whole or in part). Travel and accommodation are not included in any of the prizes and Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with any prize which are not specifically included in that prize, including, without limitation, meals, personal expenses, insurance and travel expenses. Winners are strictly prohibited from selling their prizes to any other person.
Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. reserves the right to refuse entry if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the terms and conditions. Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to reject any entry that it deems inappropriate.
The competition winner will be notified by email or telephone on or before Monday 29th April. The winner must RSVP on Friday 5th April 2019 or may risk being withdrawn from the competition. In this event, Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. reserve the right to allocate tickets to a new entrant.
The tickets issued to the ACTAs are subject to their terms and conditions, which the competition winners are deemed to accept in full. The competition winners agree to comply with the conditions of entry applicable at the venue and shall ensure that those attending with them do so. Entrants who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. may be required to leave the event.
Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred as a result of you entering the competition, not being able to enter into the competition or accepting the prize. Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of any technical problems, or any combination thereof.
Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control or to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The tickets shall remain the property of Garavi Gujarat Publications Ltd. and can be revoked without prior notice.
These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
